There’s over 50 million people following this journey now between platforms. I know in my heart that the babies will be here soon and I am so excited for this next chapter of life with them. I am so thank for to God for giving me the gift of twins. Carrying them this far has been a blessing, and a beautiful sacrifice of my own body it feels like. If all i ever got to do was know them in my womb, it would be enough. But i know the Lord has other plans for us. I know and pray He has His hand in this birth and that they come out just as healthy as they are in there, and that I get to see our family grow to a family of 6 🥹 We’ve checked on them daily this week and we will continue to do so to make sure all is well. The fact that they’re still passing tests, and I am doing great is not an anomaly. It’s possible. And i hope that no matter how the birth story plays out, people understand that they can safely go past 38 weeks with twins. Even past their due date! I know many moms who delivered 40+ twins. Healthy! Big babies lol If this is something you want to do, don’t just wing it. I recommend looking into things like: - brewers diet (high protein to prevent complications) - high dose vitamin c (to prevent PROM) - get blood levels checked, check iron and feretin - stay active + moving. I lifted weights until 39 weeks - nourish yourself, take care of your mental health, pray and spend time with God - also check out @birthinginstincts podcasts + @twinhomebirth even if you don’t plan on doing home birth because the stories are incredible! I have always said this isn’t a “me vs. them” thing in regard to OB or doctors or hospitals. It’s just a me doing research outside the system and marrying the two (best i can lol) I’ve been having dual care this whole time and i have so much to say about both but now isn’t the time. I will share more about the journey in the future. For now i spend these last few moments, hours, days? With my babies safe in my belly and big prayers up to God who gave me them. Thank you Jesus! Not medical advice #twinpregnancy #twins #momlifeunfiltered #9monthspregnant #twin
