Im an ex military medic and I had similar discussion with a muslim lad on my training course, particularly around treating Muslim ladies and girls (this was when the middle east was in turmoil) , he was quite blunt about it. "If Allah didn't want me to treat her to the best of my abilities, regardless of where she is injured, he would never place me where I am able to treat her".

I wonder if they'd ask a male Muslim how he'd treat a female patient? Anyway, I'm really grateful to the Muslim surgeon who did my knee replacement, and was very funny beforehand, which helped my anxiety a lot. He's given me my life back.

Forever grateful for the gynaecologist (he’s Muslim), who was the only one who listened to me after years of fighting with so many women gynaecologists, when it came to my endo. 🫶🏼 I’d still be undiagnosed and in a lot of pain now if it wasn’t for him.

thank you for explaining this :) I recently had an interaction with a Muslim man who wouldn't shake my hand because it went against his beliefs (fuck I was mortified, he was so kind and I'm like AHHH SORRY DUDE IM IGNORANT) and it got me thinking about how my gp is a Muslim man, I was concerned that I could be making him uncomfortable given that I'm female and absolutely insist upon going to him because he's that bloody good, I'm glad that my fears are unfounded because I didn't want to find a new doctor but would've to make his life easier 😳😭

If your a doctor, sensitive area doesn’t matter your treating is in between life and death, and you choose saving lives , in Islam your allowed in anyway as long as your helping.
