Floating icons After Effects and Photoshop Tutorial DETAILED TUTORIAL IS IN YOUTUBE LINK IS IN BIO Step 1 Take a screen shot of your phone Step2 Record your phone while placing it Step 3 Take the screenshot to Photoshop and separate the icons using Pen tool, Quick selection, marquee tool Step 4 Import The video You recorded in to After Effect and make Camera Tracking and create a solid and Camera Step 5 pre comp the solid layer and import the photoshop file in to the new composition you just created and Turn on the 3D layer on each of them Step 6 Align the the icons you imported to the Original Phone screen using the x,y,z Axis and use the second screen as a reference to place them correctly Step 7 Then make a key frame for all of the layers on Z axis by dragging and also make a scale key frame to make them more bigger Step 8 To add a glow effect on the edges of the icons Duplicate the layer Ctrl+D then add Find Edges Effect on th e duplicate layer then Select the original layer and set its Track Matte to Luma Matte using the duplicate layer as the source and select the original layer again and apply the Glow effect by going to Effects > Stylize > Glow.
