Nope doesn’t mean your baby’s coming early, just means you’re having a bigger baby. My first was measuring 97th percentile and born almost 2 weeks overdue, induced. 10.8 pounds.

My boy was in the 99th percentile for weight and height, came 6 days early (only because of my health issues) he weighed 3.7kg (8lbs 2oz). Definitely take scan measurements with a grain of salt! I had them done at 3 different places and all 3 gave me different results

Mine is in the 97th percentile! I’m 38 weeks now, and they were saying last week he was measuring 40 weeks… buttt they also said they are never 100% accurate and won’t induce me until 41 weeks

My girl was measuring 2 weeks ahead. I had baby 39+5. So didn’t come early. She was born emergency c section. 10.5pounds and is 98th percentile

on my grow chart (the chart your midwife plots the belly measurements off) my boy was measuring 100+ percentile as i’m only 5ft! in his scans he was only 40-60th and he was born 40w and 4 days at 3.2kg so pretty small compared to what the measurements and scans said!

My baby was 100th percentile as well, measuring 2 weeks ahead & I gave birth at 38 weeks! I have no idea how much bigger he would’ve been if I went all the way to 40 weeks 😭😂 you got this girl x

They said my baby was in like the 80th/90th but she was born 6lbs around the 25th percentile. I went into labour after a pedicure (didn’t know they can induce you) at 38weeks 6days 💅🏻😅

My daughter was measuring 2 weeks ahead and was born at 36+6 and was 6.8 pounds. I do think it’s possible

My bubs was also measuring 2 weeks ahead from 30 weeks, and got a growth scan they said he will be 11lb when born. He was 9lb lol. Unfortunately I also thought that meant he would come early, but unfortunately not, I ended up being induced due to his size which ended in a c section on his due date but I honestly think if I wasn’t induced he would’ve been late and I also know I could’ve delivered him naturally! 🤍 you got this mumma x

coming from a mama whos baby was measuring 4 weeks ahead in size, i went overdue(41+2) and baby was born 4.55kg. goodluck, but also my bestfriends baby was measuring 2 weeks ahead her whole pregnancy but was born at 39 weeks and was 6pounds! the measuring isnt always accurate!

I had a scan the day I was induced at 39 weeks and baby was measuring 95th percentile! She was 4kg and my easiest (and heaviest) baby to birth! Unsure if she wouldve come early if i wasnt induced though, i doubt it though haha

measured 98th %ile last time, he came only 5 days early and not too big only 7lb14oz 2nd bub is measuring 91st %ile based on scan & fundal measurement. I take it with a grain of salt tbh the measurements can be so off.

Did you pass your GD test? I passed mine, and then got super big, and then had to do it again at 35wks and failed. Baby was measuring 98th percentile and estimated 9lb. I ended up getting induced at 37+1 and baby took a while to come, gave birth 4 days later and he was 8lb13. They say give or take 500grams (I think) from what they estimate on your scan.

I was told baby was also measuring 2 weeks ahead and approx weighing 9 pounds although she didn’t come until 41 weeks and weighed 7.13 so I guess in my case the growth scan was not truly accurate..🤭

My daughter was measuring 96th percentile right up until 34 weeks but was born on the 35th percentile at 38 weeks! I never know how serious to take the scan measurements 😫

Centiles mean that out of 100 other lady’s with the same BMI, ethnicity ect. Your baby for size is measuring the biggest out of all 100. As someone who had had two babies 90-98 centile one came early and one came late. Measuring ahead just means your baby at 28 weeks is the size of an average 30 week baby! All the best 🥰

At 36 weeks my baby was measuring 39 weeks. He came at 38 weeks and is still a 99th percentile boy 10 months later

Don’t worry my son was measuring 6 weeks ahead at 36 weeks and he did come early but he was no where near as big as they thought he would be lol only 7.5 pounds

Unfortunately the scans aren’t always the most accurate. My son was “measuring ahead” I was petrified & he was born at 38 weeks 5 days and was 6 pound 6😂😂

Measured 2 weeks ahead from my 20w scan onwards and was convinced I was going to go into labour earlier. I went overdue for the 3rd time and was induced at 40+6. My scan at 40w measured my baby to be 100g less than what she was born even though everyone told me it would be wrong 😅 she was born 99th percentile and has been off the chart since 2 weeks old
