The HUGE problem here is that hospitals do not leave medicine in sight like this anymore bc of people like him. They scan it with the dose into the system. It’s been like this for years and then scan your wrist bracelet as well. No medicine is left extra out. So there’s no way he ingested medicine at the hospital that was “left unattended”. Only way that happened was if the nurse administering the medication deliberately left it open for him. Which could in fact cause the nurse their license. I’m sorry but if someone cried wolf before in attempts to escape I wouldn’t believe him either.

I've worked at a federal prison as a nurse, it's so difficult to help sick folks there. You fight the system, the officers, and administration. I'll never understand beating someone who is in restraints that's a weak move.
