How can you pray to break free from the struggle of repeated sin? Listen until the end. These 5 prayers can help you. First, “Lord, I admit my weakness. Please forgive me, cleanse me, and help me walk away from sin.” The Bible says: “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” — Proverbs 28:13 KJV Be honest about your sin. Do not hide it. Do not make excuses. Second, “Lord, I do not depend on my own righteousness. I depend only on Your grace.” The Bible says: “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace...” — Hebrews 4:16 KJV Rely on God’s mercy, not your own strength.
