Oh yes 🙌 been told my standards are too high and should ask for less. Been called selfish and how dare I expect anything from anyone … strangers on the wedding forums. Crazy.

Yeah it’s weird because for a day which is meant to be about us, & our husbands, and us as a couple, we get so much unnecessary criticism. But I think the label bridezilla is more really for the brides who dictate hair colour, must be fake tanned or can’t be fake tanned, & overly excessive hen do expectations which leave people financially stretched, then don’t talk to people for not being able to afford to come etc. & univite them to the wedding - but don’t then put us all in that box!xx

They’d get a big fat block from me. I’m going to do what I want and celebrate how I want. My personal experience but if it comes from ‘friends’ it’s ones who aren’t in that period of their life that find an issue with it and I cba for that
