i don’t think he should be sacked, it’s crazy how everyone switching up after one bad game. he made a big mistake and yes we would of won if we didn’t go defensive and eitherway we should of won, multiple fouls worth cards free kicks even a pen weren’t counted, it’s rigged.

I’ve got to say, I think playing defensively was the wrong decision. How can you use the same approach against Argentina? It may have worked against Norway and Mexico, but Argentina are on a completely different level. England have talented players, yet it feels like they’re not being used to their full potential. A team can only defend for so long before the pressure eventually tells. That’s just common sense, and as a manager, you have to recognise that. This has been a recurring problem for England. Tournament after tournament, the same defensive mindset appears instead of taking the game to the opposition. Looking back at previous World Cups, it feels like the team hasn’t learned from past mistakes. Scoring one goal doesn’t mean the job is done. Sitting back and defending for 30 minutes against a world-class side is a huge risk. It’s unrealistic to expect that level of pressure not to result in the opposition finding a goal. Take responsibility and admit you made the wrong decision.Learn from the Spanish team. Everyone knows their roles and they played beautifully against France.

I personally think they did great. If he had parked the bus and it had gone the other way and we had won, the whole nation would be praising him. It's his first tournament with England; give him time. Every person in that team, from the players to the staff, should hold their heads high!

england played awful all tournament, they were saved by a couple of moments of talent. passing throughout every game has been far too slow allowing teams to regroup before england attack. there's no leader in defence. its also as if theyve been told not to shoot from outside the area, leaving them with no chance of a follow up tap in. poor.
