I I failed 3 tests. On the 4th one, a car pulled out of a junction in front of me. I had to slam on the brakes. He said, "Do you want to stop the test?" I said no and drove the rest of the test like I had failed. Guess what? I passed! 😅

I passed my test 25 years ago, My examiner explained to me that - passing my test just means that I've met the standard to conetinue to learn "unsupervised" and that made sense to me, even now, I still occasionally find myself in new, and different situations... I'm still learning.

i was so anxious for my driving test, and in the days between my last lesson and my test everytime i thought about it i just said to myself “i’m just showing them how to drive” - that little sentence got me through all my nerves and got me my license first time with 1 minor! i was so proud of myself for not letting my head hold me back. preparing your mindset can be so important!

I don’t think anyone actually says they are a learner. But the truth is the are all learners until they pass. I mean the car has L plates on for a reason. Be ready and be confident but you are still a learner

I was so nervous on my test and just told myself im just taken a friend to the shops. I was still super nervous as did think I’d failed and half way round told him I’d rather give birth than do this test again but I passed with only 3 minors 🥰

I was literally the opposite. I got told I was too confident and Driving like a driver and not like a learner. My Driving Instructor told me they would be scared to give me a license in case I had a crash on an accident for being too confident. For example, pulling off too quickly at roundabout to get through a gap.
