Our government is going down the path of squeezing its citizens dry, while in-return giving out peanuts to show that they "care'. I'm seriously considering retiring in Malaysia, maybe this is what they want in the first place.. to replace us poor locals with high net worth new citizens.

I love Singapore and served my NS faithfully. However the cost of living and inflation are getting out of control. The government lost control of the high rentals at foodcourts. The inflation for food and kopi/tea is shocking. If I voted for opposition the next round, it is because of the high food prices due to high stall rentals that passed on to the consumers.
