What a global embarrassment. Japan was able to move forward with meaningful crypto approval in just three months, while the United States has spent more than a year struggling to make any real progress. At this point, it is difficult not to question how much influence the traditional banking industry has over the politicians responsible for voting on crypto legislation. The continued delays, political games, and lack of urgency are deeply concerning. I hope I am wrong, but I am beginning to seriously doubt that the CLARITY Act will ever be passed. America risks falling further behind while other countries move forward.
