Very true. My father made a negative comment about me when I wasn’t in the room, and my husband immediately checked him on it. I didn’t even realize, it was my mother who said your husband stood up for you. Loved that.

My man is everything to me, I’ve got MS and had to stay home for his dads bday bc I was flaring up and when he came home he was mildly pissed saying his family kept giving him shit for me not being there and was acting as though I was pulling out excuses to not go and apparently he blew up on them explaining what I go through… still to this day feel horrible knowing my lack of presence caused such an issue, but knowing he has my back through my health issues is everything to me 🫶🏻
