I think we should come up with a new word. The holocaust got its name because of the way the Nazis burned the victims. The holodomor got its name because of the starvation of the victims. Maybe someone with an understanding of language and Arabic could come up with a new word to refer specifically to the Palestinian genocide.

the word holocaust refers to the overall treatment of jews during ww2 not just the genocide. this refers to Kristallnacht the nuremburg laws and hitlers "final solution" put in place at the time. there can never be "A holocaust" only THE holocaust because again it refers to the overall hatered towards specifically jews at the time

I kind of agree but it’s also important to note that the genocide is Palestina does not have an actual policy aimed at extermination such as the Nazis had in The Holocaust (the final solution) and also calling it a Holocaust would just be a rhetorical choice since the actual legal term is genocide, it doesn’t carry any additional weight besides using it to emphasise
