Sure, women didn’t have to participate in the wage labor market like they do now. But it also put them in a power imbalance, where they were much more vulnerable to exploitation from their husband, a common occurrence. And money would still be tight for some families even if the economy in USA was growing in a way that it was less likely than it is now. I don’t think blaming feminism for the all consuming growth of global capitalism is the right answer.

If you're a traditional wife, WHY are you here giving your opinions on social media? Shouldn't your husband be the one giving your opinion because you trust what he has to say on your behalf?
