I don’t understand why people don’t get why she’s crying. There’s no feeling that beats seeing your loved one come back from a place where a lot of people don’t make it back alive. A lot of boys die at initiation school, so when someone you care about comes home safe, it’s a blessing. That feeling, seeing your friend, your brother come back alive, there’s nothing like it. She’s emotional because she’s grateful he made it back and she’s proud of him.
