i hate how there are novel and drama adaptation are written differently or uncomplete.I mean its like i like this character yet those people who had read the novel keep saying that he was worser and he deserve whatever happen..yet I wanted to believe simply the story cause i will never read the novel

In the novel, Gu Qing Zhi had a fiance, but King Xin uses his power to ruin her fiance's life and the fiance choose to breaks off the engagement and disappear (I dont know whether they will add this plot in the drama cause the plot sets up a scenario where they meet again later but as Shen Xi He). Gu QingZhi was forced to marry him so that her family will be protected (sadly they still killed her entire clan). So from the start till the end, Gu Qing Zhi never loves King Xin. She lives in despair for 5 years (she basically just a puppet to protect her family. The palace needs to holdback the power of Gu's family). She become colder, lifeless, heartless, soulless (as you can see on Shen Xi He). And when all of her family was massacred, she feels that there is no point in living alone in this world. In the novel, she killed herself with a baby in her womb (but they dont show this in the drama) . Thats why Shen Xi He needs a prince with no political agenda, so that her 2nd family (Shen Family) wont face the same threat as Gu's family. In Gu Qing Zhi entire life, she never knew what "love" was (unlike Shen Xi He, whose life is full of love). We can see how she startled when the brother and father hugged her, and when she told her brother that in this world no father loves his daughter more than Shen Xi He's father does. It's so sad really cause Gu Qing Zhi had never felt that much love before.

menurut aku kenapa nyonya gu gak cinta sampa pngeran k 5 walaupun pinter licik dan kejam tapi pangeran k 5 gak pernah ngerti dan paham apa niat dan keinginan nyonya gu pangeran k 5 cuman fokus k nyonya gu doang sedangkan putra mahkota bisa ngerti niat dan keinginan putri daerah bahakan pemikaran mereka selalu sejalan, putra mahkota selalu melindungi semua yg bersangkutan sama putri daerah

Nah ini yang bikin mikir ini tu ngga adil banget buat pangeran ke 5 😭, tau kok nyonya gu engga cinta, tapi kenapa dibuat fokus ceritanya mengenai romansanya. Dari sudut pandang tertentu engga adil banget menurut ku, kayak ada egois'nya. Sekalian aja dah bundir ya, bundir aja jan gentayangan lah ceritanya atau lebih okeh lah kalau memalsukan kematian jadi dia tetep hidup dan tetep ada dua perempuan satunya putri daerah satunya nyonya gu ngelihat karakter nyonya gu menonjol benget, kalau putri daerah lebih ke soft dan penyayangnya aja kek pemanis doang 😭😭 maaf jan dihujat 😭😭
