Congratulations! I took a mini retirement after being burned out for my job with a year’s expenses in savings and it literally changed my life. I hadn’t hit coast fire or anything I just really needed out.

Sigh…..if I made different choices in life….but we aren’t big travel people, I have my little hobby homestead, my husband likes his job and I work part time while taking care of two kids and all our birds. It’s not bad. Finances are a little sketch but I know there’s plenty of people that would still be jealous of our lifestyle too

Don’t do it - this market is bad. I’m currently at FAANG as an engineer and I applied to two mid tier companies to see how the market is, did recruiter interviews and still didn’t hear back
