similar thing happened to me during me rotation at the ER I was sent to take something from the nurses room when I was held hostage by the staff in there to join them eat fried chicken (I was caught by the staff who sent me btw) some doctors walked in and were also held hostage. fast forward, some minutes till the next shift, men were rushed in. confused, we asked what happened they were shot but the information given to us was that there was a fire. we tried to find the correlation but no one was explaining anything long story short, there was a fire and a gang fight it wasn't until everything had settled down that we found the whole situation funny ( the calm before the storm)

people tend to forget healthcare workers are human and have their own lives if they were to sympathize and attach with their every patient they wouldn't survive a month . i had to see 2 people die in front of me during the day and go home to attend my sister's wedding at night

So common sense is not so common this comment section proves that🥸, they have duties exceeding 12 hours they are constantly on duty can’t change to eat so they have to eat in scrubs they go home sometimes after days. Its not easy to become a doctor or even a nurse. They were eating having break when they had an emergency and had to perform CPR none of them is making fun of patient just showing their own life✋🏻
