Differences between Bible verses do not automatically mean the Bible contradicts itself. In many cases, the authors were writing from different perspectives, to different audiences, or using different methods of measuring time. A wise student of Scripture compares the whole context instead of drawing conclusions from a single verse. Seeking truth requires careful study, not quick assumptions that the Bible is confusing.

These verses don't necessarily contradict each other. Mark likely uses the Jewish method of counting hours (third hour ≈ 9 a.m.), while John may be using the Roman method (sixth hour ≈ 6 a.m.), which fits the timeline from trial to crucifixion. As for Acts saying Jesus was 'hanged on a tree,' that's a Jewish expression referring to crucifixion on a wooden cross (see Deuteronomy 21:22–23; Galatians 3:13). The verses describe the same event from different perspectives, not different events.

let me tell you people something. the first Bible was written in Hebrew language. so those who translate it from Hebrew to English made a lot of mistakes.

There is no necessary contradiction. Mark records the time Jesus was nailed to the stake, while John describes the final moments of the trial before Jesus was led away. The difference between "cross" and "stake" comes from how translators understand and translate the Greek word staurós. Mark records the time when Jesus was nailed to the stake, while John describes the final stage of Jesus' trial before the execution. The difference between "cross" and "stake" comes from how the Greek word staurós is translated. Mark focuses on the execution, John focuses on the trial before the execution, and "cross" versus "stake" depends on the translation of the Greek word staurós.

There is no contradiction the difference is in timekeeping methods. John used Roman civil time, Mark used Jewish religious time. Both accounts align when understood in context, simple..
