The fact they killed off the dinosaurs on the mainland just because the writer didn't have any creative ideas for it is what ruined the movie for me. Especially since the entire Jurassic World trilogy and Camp Cretaceous/Chaos Theory shows were building up to it. Plus, the reasons they gave were explained away in Jurassic World (the animals were modified to survive modern climates and diseases)

unpopular opinion. I actually sorta like Rebirth. the aspect of the plot could've been better but the dinosaurs even the genetic hybrids we're great. it was the people. adored the family plot of the kids and the dad, the poachers were an issue cause they acted like how the actors in Alien Requiem were. poorly. if the plot changed a little, it would've been better. also hated the mint guy.

Ykw annoys me is when ppl say "oh i hate the d rex it was so dumb looking and wasn't scary!!" THATS THE POINT. You missed the ENTIRE point of that island if you thought the d rex was supposed to look visually appealing or scary, LIKE NO?? That island is the defect island, those dinosaurs are supposed to look deformed, weird, and not pretty which is why they're there

it was the characters being dumb and power scaling the mutidons by attacking a raptor we don't even get in focus on the screen after hyping them up to exist and rewriting scenes with the raptors to be mutadons instead 💔

I liked the movie but I HATED that they killed off all the dinosaurs, fallen kingdom and dominion were both supposed to represent how we have to live with dinosaurs and adapt. it was cool, but they destroyed the plot of the past 2 movies.

Oh yeah no I love rebirth for how they treated the dinosaurs, but I’m genuinely never gonna forgive the director for killing the majority of the mainland dinosaurs and sending us back to a tropical island because he “didn’t know what to do with dinosaurs in our world.”
