If a World Cup performance trumps an entire season performance that includes league and UCL then, why didn’t Sneijder, Muller or any Spain player win in 2010? Why didn’t Messi get the Balon D’or in 2014 when he reached the WC final and won golden ball which is what Modric didn’t in 2018 but, he got it
