100% right and I'm shocked people don't know this. financial behavior is *key* to a healthy financial life. anything to avoid paying interest (especially high interest rolling credit) needs to happen before investing. I pay my mortgage loan minimums (3.375%) and auto loan minimums (1.9%), but I don't pay a dime to my credit card companies as I pay those off as soon as I'm able (usually every 2 weeks).
