come back in 30 years. We’ve had this happen in our HOA 55+ community four times. Some of the kids are close to 55 and they keep the house maintained and when they burn 55 three or four years later, they moved out some of the kids were way too young. They maintain themselves, but they are not allowed to live if they’re.

Unfortunately when it's a 55 or older neighborhood one person in the family has to be 55. I worry if my husband dies that I'll go through the same situation.

It’s a senior community, with a minimum age requirement of 45. She can still inherit the property and potentially use it for passive income, but those age restrictions exist for specific reasons tied to how senior communities operate.
