Race is exclusive for the R8. On non-R8 models it doesn't actually do anything. Off-road does make the suspension noticeably softer if you're equipped with the air suspension system. Otherwise it doesn't do anything either.

Two small things .. it costs and software and hardware were not designed with a Race mode. Even if you manage to make a “Race” option appear in the menu through coding, it is usually just a label.
