Based on circulating supply: 62.47 billion XRP × US$1,000 = US$62.47 trillion market cap. Based on maximum supply: 100 billion XRP × US$1,000 = US$100 trillion fully diluted valuation. For perspective: The value of all the gold in the world is estimated at around US$22–25 trillion. The United States' Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is around US$30 trillion per year. This means that for XRP to reach US$1,000, its market value would need to be in the US$62–100 trillion range, depending on whether you use the circulating or maximum supply. That is a massive figure compared to any current asset or national economy. However, there is a common misconception here. It doesn't mean that US$62 trillion in actual cash has to flow into XRP. Price is determined by the last transaction between a buyer and a seller. If demand far outweighs supply, the price can rise using far less capital than the total increase in market cap.
