i went on oblivion the yr it opened... they use to hold you at the top over the drop for a gd while.

Oblivion is quite old now but when it was built it was the first vertical drop coaster in the world. I’ve ridden it a few times, always go at the end for the best chance to get first row.

i love oblivion so much, it’s so good cuz it’s got a high capacity per hour so the queues tend to be pretty short!!

it used to wait at the top for so long and the speakers at the side would say "DONT LOOK DOWN" wait a bit longer then drop you it seems to go so quick now

It used to hang on the edge of the drop for 5 seconds that was the selling point but obviously they’ve shortened that for now, it felt like 10 seconds when I went on
