Exactly. Nd Logan is only leading morph on like he is bc he knows morph will do anything for him. He knows no matter how dangerous the situation is or how hard it’s going to be for Logan to get what he wants, morph will help him without question. Also the fact that Logan was there for him when no one else was so morph prob feels almost obligated to be there for Wolverine even if that means hes kinda throwing his own feelings or well being to the side.

Tbh I don’t think Wolverine is even truly in love with Jean. Not really. Wolverine’s character is lonely by nature and often he obsesses over a happiness and life he can never attain because he’s so deeply rooted in his own self loathing that he could never truly love anything or anyone. Jean is just another obsession that he’ll use to fuel his own loneliness.

for me it's not even about romantic love being reciprocated. it's the fact that Wolverine was there for Morph when NO ONE else was. And now, Wolverine showed he was okay lying to Morph for his own benefit, betraying them, and not caring for them as a basic decent friend. Wolverine cares more about a woman he'll never have than someone who is/was actually a true friend to him.

This last episode showed morph that there really is no future with him and wolverine. Wolverine will never put himself before morph like morph does for him. It’s not healthy for morph and wolverine isn’t healthy as a partner
