I met a lady who invited me to church. I went. I was going through some things and she knew. I missed one Sunday. She didn't ask how I was. She wasn't concerned if I was okay. She went straight to judging me and lecturing me. That was the last time I went to church. I don't need to be around a bunch of fake people to worship God. I go outside (my church) and appreciate the things he created for us rather than the walls of a man made building. A relationship with God is a relationship with God and you don't need a church to have one.

If it’s a hospital for the broken, why would anyone expect the broken members of the church to “get it right?” They are also still broken. If anyone walks into a hospital and expect the other people in the ER to help you, then you ate going to leave worse off than you came. It’s a house of worship full of terrible sinners who all desperately need His grace and mercy.

absolutely think religion is a mind control game. I believe in spirituality. we don't need a church to have a relationship with Yahweh. If I was gonna go to church its to praise HIM with others of a same mindset. the mind of many church goers are judgemental, and snooty. love how they think they are better for sitting in a pew once a week and judging all who aren't a part of the circle. especially the Lost! those struggling with addiction are just important to Jesus if not more so than those already sitting in the pews.

I've come to realize that some of the deepest wounds I've experienced came from places that were meant to offer healing. Not everyone in church reflects the love they preach. I've encountered judgment, jealousy, competition, and rejection where I expected compassion. This isn't a criticism of faith—it's a reminder that people are imperfect. May we spend less time judging others and more time becoming the kind of people our beliefs call us to be.
