So, at the beginning of summer I bought signs to create a calming corner. I put them some place "safe".....I don't know where that was. The frustration that looking for these calming corner materials is so ironic

I thought the same thing... I have at least 2 SUV loads! I blame rummage sales, Marketplace, and those pesky teacher sale groups on FB! As a second year Early Childhood Special Education teacher... there still have so much more that my kiddos need but the time and money is gone!

Belle priest :

You are a homeschool mom

kristaf :

Do you have to buy everything yourselves? In Finland teachers don't buy _anything_ for the class. That is the city's responsibility.

Andie :

I tried to stick to not buying anything but I just get so excited

Lifewithmrs.t :

Not me with two trucks, two trailers, an SUV and 5 people lugging my classroom stuff around! 🍎

01234 :

I said the same as it’s my last year and I have already spent $400! Ugh! 😩

Crayonsandchaos🖍️ :

user 🇨🇦 :

Am I the only teacher that just brings a backpack with my lunch on the first day of school?

jamiemccarthy729 :

My dad came over, walked in with the 4 packages on my doorstep. “I couldn’t even get in, the door was blocked with packages.” Yeah…it’s back to school season. Can you tell? 😅
