Spann for this masterpiece!! the way everything was tied back to theatre and acting was so impressive and truly such a captivating concept. i absolutely adore the atmosphere, the magic system, the character development, everything !!! i also was not expecting the plot twists at all. it did lose me a bit in the second half but i was still addicted! the romance was more of a subplot, and despite it being YA, i was living for any of the scraps we got bc it was SO GOOD. “I would know your touch through a closed curtain and the sound of your step when the spotlight has gone out.
