Get the man to wear a hat, I'm not joking. Women are so careful with sunscreen and protections but most men aren't, and the exposed head getting all that direct sun with no protection at all is quite dangerous, especially if you plan to stay out in the sun all day

Italy is not a good summer destination, unless you go to the beach and spend the whole day there or visit the mountains. Sightseeing in this heat can be dangerous
