Did you see Aaron Parnas video of the blue angels flying right over citizens on the beach in Fl. And Hegseath saying he did that to boost morale. Some former veterans were saying his response should make citizens scared.

Did Hegseth come up with this idea in his own? I’m really wondering where this whole idea came from.

Why hasn’t the military done anything to stop the insanity? Can you talk about that?

It’s a bit more nuanced and I do hope they take the study of hormones and therapy seriously for our SMs. I do think it’s a step in the right direction in analyzing data and getting SMs the help they need for readiness, higher fitness standards and targeting diet and hormones is a start. Not perfect but a start

@jenniferday415: I listened and followed. I have a 21 year old airman and I am struggling with the reality of this. Most moms of enlisted don’t watch the news at all. I’m trying to honor my son’s choice by being engaged and aware. It is SO HARD.

Testosterone does not directly cause aggression. Instead, the hormone acts as an amplifier of existing personality traits and primarily drives behaviors related to social dominance and status-seeking. While normal or medically prescribed levels do not cause hostility, excessively high doses—like those used in anabolic steroids—can lead to severe mood swings and irritability. The relationship between testosterone and male behavior is highly nuanced: Dominance over Aggression: Research indicates testosterone amplifies behaviors that help a man achieve or maintain social status, which can manifest as competitive drive, confidence, or even generosity depending on the social context. The "Amplifier" Effect: Testosterone can lower inhibitions, meaning it intensifies underlying personality traits rather than creating new aggressive ones out of nowhere. The Steroid Factor: The hostility often referred to as "roid rage" is specific to the abuse of high, non-medical doses of anabolic steroids. It is rarely seen in men undergoing medically supervised Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT).Low Testosterone and Mood: Ironically, clinically low testosterone is frequently linked to increased irritability, mood swings, and a perceived loss of power, rather than the "alpha male" stereotype of high testosterone-fueled aggression.
