Yes, it is completely a fallacy; some schools in the UK will present you with some AGENTS to help you. Trust me, some scammers will create a replica website for schools and administration; if care is not taken, you might channel your resources into the wrong channel. The Best you can do as an individual is to do follow up too.

This is not completely true, employing an expert in a certain field doesn’t make you an illitrate,when you get a leaky sink does calling a plumber makes you an illiterate? Imagine you are trying to get a student visa that you’d probably save million for. A process you know that one mistake can ruin your investment and time. This is something completely new to you, cover letter,SOP, motivation letter, possible visa interview questions. You research all this thing and you can probably do them but you are not an expert and one mistake can ruin everything. So no I don’t think employing an expert makes you an illiterate. I’d rather use someone that has done it multiple times for others and is familiar with the system and process thank you.

The worst is people that want to go through the study route needing agents. If you can't obtain admission and process the visa yourself why then are you going for study, you're not qualified to be called a student. Me that's doing everything myself i be mugu
