Honestly after hearing so many negative reviews I was absolutely emotional and amazed at my tour. What helped was the pre tour presentation that I attended - helped build a lot of context. I finally visited the house on my 5th trip to Amsterdam and I would recommend it to everyone! Such a piece of history preserved so well and makes one thing so hard about what those times were like

Growing up I thought she had to survive in a tiny closet. I go visit the house in Amsterdam and it’s huge, much larger than my 1bd apartment I was paying 1500/ month for in SoCal! They had a ton of space!!

The Anne Frank House was probably the most impacting thing we saw in the EU for my children. They wanted to go back because they felt they had missed part of her story. It's a powerful reminder of what we've been through, what children went through.
