@jakeclaverqfop: If BlackRock acquired Anchorage, your assets would not be affected. Accounts are segregated and bankruptcy remote. Your assets are not on Anchorage's balance sheet. You are never a creditor of Anchorage. You own the assets and control them regardless of who owns the custodian. BlackRock acquiring Anchorage is also unlikely. Building proprietary custody infrastructure using Copper, Fireblocks, or Ripple custody makes more strategic sense for an institution their size than acquiring a custodian.
