Managers are trained to ignore it unless the customer specifically asks for the double guarantee. 2. The system flag for "price protection" on wine is buried in the manager portal. If a bottle drops in price within 7 days of purchase, they owe you the difference. 3. The digital flag also tracks "ghost inventory" -- items marked down in the system 24 hours before the tags change on the shelf. 4.
