Fun fact: in greece, at school, odyssey is a school subject and we study, discuss it for a whole year and get examined on it. (As well as iliad on another year). American “adaptations” such as this one, feel like parodies more than epic films. And the level of ignorance on behalf of audience and critics feels astonishing yet somewhat entertaining.
