Imo I don’t think it’s things they “got wrong” but stuff they changed from the original that just isn’t good in the live action (except for toph in the library, that made no sense 😭)

One of the biggest issues with this show is that they are assuming that everyone watching, watched the cartoon. Which is mostly true but you're supposed to make this in a way that this could be the first time watching anything Avatar related for someone

This is something I mentioned in my review of S2 and Live Action remakes in general. We have no time to develop the relationships between the characters and we the audience don’t have an emotional attachment to any of these characters

they were so busy trying to put season. 2 stuff in season 2 and season 3 stuff in season 2, that they weren't focused on the season at hand and building that.
