@truecrimewithwine: 🚨True Crime Alert 🚨- He was only 16 years old. 💔 Josue “Jay” Ruiz was a teenager in Albuquerque, New Mexico, whose life was tragically cut short in March 2022. What was supposed to be a confrontation between teenagers turned into a deadly ambush when prosecutors say Jay was fatally shot by his girlfriend’s mother, Elizabeth Ortiz-Chavez. Authorities later alleged she attempted to frame her own teenage son for the murder, believing he would receive a lighter sentence because he was a juvenile. (People.com) After years of investigation, Ortiz-Chavez pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to prison. Jay’s death left behind a grieving family and serves as a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly violence can steal a young life. Justice came, but it could never give Jay the future he deserved. Rest in peace, Jay. 🕊️ ##TrueCrime##TrueCrimeTok #CrimeTok #truecrimecommunity #truecrimeaddict
