I'm currently in Sweden and I know a bloke who got a new job but his notice period is 6 months. I thought and said to him that's great, you can coast and put the handbrake on. He said no, I've got some really important projects to complete in that 6 months.🫡

We had 3 out of 7 in the office, one nearly in tears because all the work hadn’t been done. I just said why you getting upset, management know there is only 3 of us and I’m only doing what I need to do. I go home happy, they go home feeling stressed

I had a colleague on my team at the same level “warn me” out of the goodness of their heart that my boss was expecting more than what I was delivering. Spoke to my boss that day and she was very happy with what I was doing, no issues at all. Why would he do this?

i quit my job i was being bullied by my manager, the day i quit it was stock take day, I walked in as normal acted like nothing was wrong, clocked in worked couple of hours, only myself, manager and assistant manager were in , I knew what stock take meant I would be left as usual to serve, clean, do everything wile they did the stock so after 2 hours I handed my keys to the manger and said bye i quit im not taking your sh*t anymore, she just stood and looked at me, not one word came out her mouth but the relief I felt was so good, i worked there 6 years she had worked there 2 years

i have just in the last 2 weeks left a job i have been doing for nearly 25 years and it means nothing and im just gutted I didn't see it sooner and if you think all that hard work and the times you worked over or started early to help the company when no one else did you will still be treated the same as the lazy ones you get replaced in a few weeks and forgot about with in a month do it for you and your family its never to late ❤️

on the notice thing, we've had people resign to go work at competitors, and they are told to leave the building immediately and go sit at home fully paid for 3 months. its called gardening leave.
