this happened to me last winter in Gatlinburg TN as well. stuck in a cabin for three days past when we were supposed to leave. had to call a tow truck to come get us eventually

yeah this is a pretty popular theme in winter to be able to charge visitors hundreds of dollars for staying longer due to being trapped. they will not save you. they won't do anything but take your money. y'all this place is not built on respect and care for others.

when you sign the rental agreement they tell you NSAID rental agreement that flash nose and rains and ice is a possibility in the winter time that you need to come prepared it is not up to the rental company to deal with it

you definitely need to post the rental company. that is not fair! and it is their job to maintain that road. so they can start losing rental occupancy.😡

Oh, this makes me mad so she’s not gonna get anybody to treat the road but she wants you to call the other two owners for them to pay for it when they are responsible. What sense does that make? I feel so bad for these people so what happened to him? Is he just stranded up there or did he go to the hospital with his wife?

Even if they are responsible for the driveway, they aren’t responsible for the road so he wouldn’t be able to leave anyways. That’s a risk you take renting somewhere that gets snow in winter
