Vet wanted to put down my first cat because she had a tumour in mouth and they couldn't do anything. Just told us to give up on her. She outlived vet 😂.

Some vets are SO quick to say this. But when humans get sick we do what we can and we understand old humans have problems. There's still quality of life left.

Don’t give up. This happened to my cat with the same advice. We knew he had no sensation in his legs from all the tests so we knew he was not in pain. We got him a wheelchair, did at home physio, and within 4 weeks he did not need his wheelchair, within 8 weeks he was pretty much back to normal walking wise, within a few fees after he could run and jump. Good luck!

Sometimes you need to ask yourself: is the vet suggesting euthanasia out of convenience for me or is there truly no quality of life there? I have a kitten who is blind and has CH. She gets more confident every single day, and has no problem catching up with her brother.

The vet wanted to put my dog to sleep when he was only 5 months old just because he had a broken leg and now my dog is 6 years old and runs, jumps and is a happy dog.eliz.

my cat has been shot by a neighbor and almost lost one of his leg. he couldn’t move it at all so the vet told us we should cut it, however, we couldn’t afford it. after months of massages and exercises he was running and jumping on his fours legs 🥰🥰🥰

If she isn’t paralyzed, try to stimulate her legs when she’s in her “wheelchair”, it usually works like therapy and if im not mistaken, many cats got their ability to move them once again! Not saying its 100% going to work but trying is well enough❤️❤️❤️hoping the best for your amazing little girl🥹🤍

Vet told me to euthanise my 16 year old cat after she was attacked by the neighbours dog, first he said her injuries were not consistent with a dog attack, that she had been hit by a car (despite 13 ppl watching it happen) when i refused he told me to amputate both her back legs and tail saying she will never walk again, also told be her eyesight would not return. I said I believe in her and could sense her spirit was strong, he and his team scoffed at me. 3 months later I went back there with her to show him she was walking again, eyesight came back within 10 days. Only nerve injury was in left foot that would bend under itself occasionally. She lived till 21 years old.

We don’t recommend to euth just cuz. It’s usually because people truly don’t realize how difficult a disable animal is to take care of. Especially if they can’t urinate on their own. This can cause chronic UTIs etc. it’s not about not wanting to try.
