Nigerian living in America here, and I have to say, these fleece-lined leggings are commonly worn during the autumn and brutal winter months because many women prefer tights that match their skin tone rather than opaque tights that clash with their outfits. Nobody is walking around wearing just these leggings on their own—they’re meant to be worn under dresses or skirts. That’s why I’m confused by the correlation to nudity. I interpreted her comment about her bum as simply showing how skin-like the fleece-lined leggings look when worn under clothing. If you’re advertising a product that’s designed to create a seamless, natural-looking effect, of course you’d show the lower half where the product is being worn. We have these same kinds of ads in America. The whole point is to show, “No, I’m not nude—these are skin-tone garments worn underneath clothing, and look how seamless they appear.” I don’t know … All this to say, not everything needs to be viewed through a sexual or dirty lens. It’s an advertisement for clothing that is worn underneath a skirt/dress/shorts … Simple, no complex.

I think the context is to wear these leggings SO THAT YOU CAN WEAR SHORT THINGS AND STILL LOOK BARE, wearing it because it doesn't clash makes sense but the intention is not merely to be warm but to STILL LOOK PARTIALLY NAKED.
