They are considering the lyrics not the song. apart from it being fully English. if you calm down and read through the lyrics you will understand. Lyrics like: "when we fall we know how to land". It really fits that kind of event and atmosphere

Guys I know, but PTD actually makes sense for the World Cup. Out of all BTS’s English songs, it’s the one that best fits the atmosphere of a global event like the World Cup because it’s all about people coming together and celebrating. Also, the entire performance for all the invited artists is only around 11 minutes, so BTS will probably only perform for about two minutes, they’re not going to create a brand new song for that amount of time, also they haven’t had time to compose a new song either
