My fav was when he did Copperhead road 1/2 through and 1/2 the audience left and then he played another hour for the real fans.

The one and only :
People felt ripped off because they were expecting a band , not just him singing and playing by himself

every one leaves after he plays this song.at all his concerts.so he tries to wait till the middle or near end of his concert to play it to force people to stay so he's not performing to an empty show .But he started getting back lash for doing that and people who at the show would all be yelling for him to play his hit.then people would not buy his tickets anymore and he lost alot of ticket sales so he had to listen to his fans and just play the song early in the show.he forced them ,they pushed back and he caved.nust be embarassing to be a bonafide one but wonder .then again it has made him be able to tour and live for 40 years off one song and it is an amazing song, especially on vinyl

We made friends with a bunch from Kentucky and stayed friends for 20 some odd years. They came to stay in Ontario we visited in Kentucky. A beautiful friendship. This song was paying non stop for years. Brought back so many good memories to see this!

In the last 35+ years, I've seen him and the Dukes play at a bar, a folk fest and a theatre. I think would like to see him play a solo acoustic show.

As long as he isn’t having a meltdown down about dans being to loud so he can tune his guitar he’s fine. I’m a fan but when you get mad at your fans for being loud is abit much.
