Thousands of Iraqis gathered in Baghdad and other cities to express opposition to recent remarks by former U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Nouri al-Maliki’s potential return as prime minister. Protesters held banners rejecting foreign involvement and chanted slogans in support of Iraq’s sovereignty, emphasising that leadership decisions should be made by Iraqis themselves. تجمع آلاف العراقيين في بغداد ومدن أخرى للتعبير عن رفضهم لتصريحات الرئيس الأمريكي السابق دونالد ترامب بشأن احتمال عودة نوري المالكي إلى منصب رئيس الوزراء. ورفع المتظاهرون لافتات ترفض التدخل الأجنبي وهتفوا بشعارات تدافع عن سيادة العراق، مؤكدين أن قرارات القيادة يجب أن تأتي من الشعب العراقي نفسه. While the demonstrations remained largely peaceful, they highlighted widespread concerns over perceived external influence.
