my dad got fined 1200 dollars one time for saving a baby deer from a mud hole. the forestry people said we should have let nature take its course.

a mountain town near me had a town deer. everyone including the firefighters took care of her and let her come hangout. she had beds in several homes for durinf stormy nights or hard winters then the state came in to put her down. they never got to her mountain folk told the state to get a warrant right at their gates lol
