@makingtravelwaves: I thought I’d timed this perfectly. I’d arrived at Sea Lanes Canary Wharf, the pool was unusually quiet and I wanted to get in quickly before it was busy. I rushed and then split my swim cap. 🙃 So I tried swimming without one. The water was too cold to put my head in. Yes, I’m a wimp. 😂 Turns out head-up breaststroke hurts my neck, so that’s not for me either. The ridiculous part? I had a spare cap with me. Did I remember that? Of course not.
