unfortunate that they had to toss the entire Kang story out and quickly shoehorn doom in to fill in the gap, Major's acting especially in Loki was almost getting me as hyped for the big villain as I was waiting for Thanos way back in phase 1

I hate that they didn’t just recast him. He is literally playing a character that is intended to have infinite variants. You already have an in universe explanation for literally any new actor they want to take over the role.
