@studio_moonmoon: Burdened by the stress of caring for their sick mother, a brother almost falls victim to Yuan Hen’s demonic clutches after a fight with his sister. However, with the courage to apologize and speak her fears out loud, his sister unknowingly exorcises the demon of resentment’s curse and Yuan Hen loses his grasp on her brother’s soul. — Taking a slightly darker turn from our other content, here is a piece inspired by the combination of real life experiences gathered from three people. The goal was to showcase how quickly one’s inner thoughts can be weaponized against oneself and how little it takes sometimes to be saved. We also took care to work with a Hong Kong native to handle the translations to make sure it read properly. All in all, no AI was used to create this short about resentment. With our DAISING series we want to explore more stories about broken relationships and how one might (or might not) repair them. We hope you enjoy! this perfectly shows how much a "sorry" can change someone's perspective, or overall mindset

😭this story implies that their parents were well adjusted enough to impart their healthy mentalities to their children... now the demon of resentment is brewing in my chest

can't tell you how many times I've had to apologize for things even when I felt strongly about them but never being apologized to... it's rough

This is something that I've or never might experience, caribbean and latin people never apologize, in my family we just pretend the next day like nothing happened. I never thought that a sorry could change a person.

Also let's say the sister didn't apologize
It would be totally valid to bring up the issue later "I felt really bad when you talked to me like that"
It's a difficult conversation, specially when you're both not doing that well mentally, but it's important to not let this kind of thing fester inside your head
Specially men who tend to jump into conclusions really quick, like this brother, who instantly jumped from "she didn't even listen to me" to "she hates me, she doesn't respect me" and then switches to "I'm not enough, it's all pointless"
The cognitive jump is way too drastic

I dont know if its intentional, but at the start their height was roughly close, but at the end the older brother is WAY taller. Its like at the start he was cut in half by the sisters harsh words, but by the end he grew and is able to stand proud

We need more appreciation on the sound design and sountrack of this! I love the incorporation of traditional instruments used to convey emotions like how they would in many form of traditional drama and plays

Thank you very much for this. I’ve been trying to feel less…useless even though I do a lot. And trying not to feel resentment for the people around me…because everyone’s trying in their own way.

Holy shit this was genuinely so well done. The artistic takes with the dialogue and internal dialogue is so good and the soundtrack???? I love when more traditional and lesser known or used instruments band together this whole segment down to the animation? Peak
